Updating Bob PetHair Vision Plus's Software
When your bot needs a software update, there will be an alert on the Control page of the bObsweep mobile app. You will also receive a pop-up notification with options to view the update details or be reminded later.
1. Place your bot on the charging station.
2. Open the bObsweep mobile app and go to the Control page.
3. Tap on the alert symbol and select “Software Update.” You will be notified about two kinds of updates: Wi-Fi software, and bot software updates.
Under each of the two categories on the Software Update page, you can see your current software version and any available updates. A blue “Learn More” link means that there is updated software available.
Please note that the bObsweep app requires that you update Wi-Fi software before bot software if there are two updates avaiulable. If there is just one update available, you may begin the process with whichever area has the new software.
4. Tap on the blue “Learn More” link, and then select “Update.”
5. Follow the instructions on screen and tap “Start Update.”
Do not move your bot or close the bObsweep app during the update process to ensure a smooth and successful update.
6. Tap “Finish.”
If the update was unsuccessful, charge the bot and repeat this process, making sure to closely follow the steps on the app.
7. If you have a second update available, click the blue “Learn More” link to begin the process. Follow the instructions once more to complete the process.
8. If the update was unsuccessful, charge the bot and repeat this process, making sure to closely follow the steps on the app.
