Station Troubleshooting
If your bot is having trouble charging or appears "dead" even after a full overnight charge, your bot may not be positioned correctly on the station.
Check the charging station to make sure it is plugged into a live outlet and the LED light in the middle of the station is shining.
When placing your bot on the charging station, visually confirm that the metal charging plates on the rear side of your bot (the same side as the dustbin) are making physical contact with the charging plates on the station. Once the charge plates are connected, the buttons on the bot will light up.
Battery Hard Reset
1. Make sure the bot is powered OFF. Press and hold the GO button for a few seconds until the bot chimes down and powers off.
2. Once powered off, flip the bot upside down to access the battery compartment.
3. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the battery cover on the bot’s underside.
4. Lift the battery out of its compartment and unplug the connecting wire.
5. Wait a few minutes (no longer than 30 minutes) before reinstalling the battery wire. Press firmly to ensure a secure connection.
6. Close the battery compartment and reattach the screws. Once secure, flip the bot back over to his normal position.
7. Do not press any buttons or power the bot ON.
8. Place the bot on the charging station, ensuring contact between the battery and the station’s metal charging plates. Your bot will automatically power ON once placed on the station. If low on charge, allow him to fully charge for 4 to 5 hours. Then press GO on the bObsweep App, or on the bot to start cleaning!
